Welcome to the Walking group!

ABOUT THIS GROUP

Walking and talking at the same time... oh my.

We like to pick spots around town to start from, then we pick how long we'll walk that day, and then we head out.

WHERE AND WHEN?

This varies. But as we gain more interest in those that enjoy walking in a group as much as we do, we'll poll everyone and find out what works for everyone. Historically we've gathered near Memorial & Bellevue with about an hour walk in the afternoon.

WANT TO JOIN US?

1. Follow the steps to download TeamReach app to your smart device (iPhone, iPad, Android phone or tablet).

2. In the Group Code field enter NptWalk.

3. Get going in the group.

   1. Tap the Walking - Newport Huddlers group name

   2. Use the icons at the top of the group to:

      1. CHAT: Start a new conversation by using the Write Message field at the bottom.

      2. CALENDAR EVENTS: tap the Calendar icon to see upcoming events. If there aren't any, check back.

      3. PHOTOS: After events, everyone is welcome to upload photos to the app. Your Steering Committee members will try very hard to remember to do this too.

      4. MEMBERS: View the names of those in this Wine Time group.

      5. PRIVATE CHATTING: Box with a quill indicating you'll select the boxes of those you'd like to write a message to.

   3. REPLYING TO AN EXISTING CONVERSATION:

      1. Either tap the conversation message or the word "Comments" to the bottom right.

      2. Type your reply in the bottom field.
